Now that the unpacking is done and the scent of cardboard boxes has faded, it's time to give a heartfelt shoutout to EVOteam. Working with Ellyn last fall/winter will be an experience not to be forgotten. As anyone house hunting right now in the Orlando area knows, this market is not for the faint of heart. Here's where Ellyn comes into the equation. First thing I'd see every morning, email from Ellyn with any new listings. Taking my calls, my texts, maybe a listing I found- at all hours of the day and night. Driving to all corners of central Florida, mapping out times and distance, dealing with sellers' agents who felt zero urgency to respond, because what do they care, they've already got 20 offers. Writing up offers in record time, because "if you snooze you lose" in this market. Something I particularly appreciated was a very good balance of pointing out potential in a house, but not trying to sell me a house that was not what I was looking for. In four months of searching, she stayed focused and was always encouraging us that our house was out there somewhere. And it was. Finally, after some stellar negotiations by our spunky, knowledgeable agent, here we are in a house far better than what we hoped for. To be honest, whoever you are out there reading this, I sympathize with the fact that you need to buy a house right now. But, since you are, I cannot more highly recommend EVOteam! Good luck!
