Teacher Appreciation Week 

We're thanking our wonderful teachers for all the work they do. Especially in times of uncertainty, we feel blessed to have so many talented teachers on our team. Every year, we give back thousands to our educators through our Yellow Ribbon program. Nationwide our schools have transitioned to online learning for the remainder of the year. Many parents have transitioned to a "teacher" role in their home and are quickly learning just how hard it is to teach. 

Social distancing has changed the usual means of "thank you". So here are a few ways to virtually thank a teacher.  

 Send an e-gift card

Despite the current shopping restrictions, a gift card directly to a teacher's inbox will still put a smile on their face! Many stores are still offering online delivery... Amazon, Target, or order a gift card from your favorite small business in your local town. 

Create a photo collage or thank you video 

Create a video or photo of your children thanking their teacher. This is a thoughtful way to reach out and remind a teacher how thankful you are for all that they do! Add a sweet personal message.   

Place a sign in your teacher's yard 

2020 is the year of yard signs... from birthdays to graduations, many people are placing signs in their front yard to celebrate life events. Online shops are now selling "Thank you Teacher" signs to place in the yards of our educators. This is a great idea for a fun surprise! Add a small gift basket on the front porch to treat them even further. 

Order a gift for home delivery 

There are plenty of online sites offering premade gift basket - from wine baskets to at-home spa baskets and everything in between. Everything is right at our fingerprints to easily treat our educators with a nice gift they will love.
