Spring break is just around the corner, so for many people that means an entire week of fun with the family. Florida is one of the hottest spring break destinations in the country thanks its warm weather, beautiful beaches, and amazing attractions. Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is by far the most popular spring break destination for families in Florida. Located in beautiful Lake Buena Vista, this magical resort features four theme parks with thrilling rides, water parks where you can cool off on sunny days, and a slew of attractions that will awe and excite little ones, teenagers and adults alike. Keep in mind though that the park will be crowded over the holidays, so expect line-ups at the most popular rides.

Orlando

There is so much to see and do in Orlando, from dynamic theme parks to a fantastic dining scene, fascinating museums, art galleries and more. The theme parks often have special events happening during spring break including parades, concerts, food festivals, and special performances. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Kennedy Space Center

The Kennedy Space Center, located on Florida's aptly named Space Coast, and it’s a great destination for families interested in science and space exploration. The center offers numerous exhibits and attractions, including the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, the Rocket Garden, and the Astronaut Training Experience. Visitors can also watch rocket launches from nearby Cape Canaveral.

Clearwater

Looking for some sun, sand and sea? Clearwater offers miles of white sand beaches where you can relax and recharge next to the Gulf of Mexico. You can spend spring break swimming in the ocean, suntanning on the sand, playing rounds of golf on world-class courses, heading out on deep sea fishing excursions and dining on fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants.

Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando is another popular destination for families. The resort includes two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, as well as Universal's Volcano Bay water park. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a must-see for Harry Potter fans, and the new VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure is a wild ride for roller coaster enthusiasts.

Windermere

Families who love being outdoors will fall head over heels for Windermere. With its plethora of stunning lakes, hiking trails, cycling paths and golf courses, plus easy access to theme parks in and around Orlando, this stunning Central Florida town offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
