Windermere, FL is located in Southwest Orange County, approximately 14 miles from downtown Orlando, and 6 miles north of the Walt Disney World Resort. It has a population of approximately 3,500, over a total area of 1.57 square miles.
Known as the “Town of Lakes”, Windermere is surrounded by beautiful sand-bottom lakes, including Lakes Butler, Down, and Bessie.
