The Longwood Historic District spans roughly 190 acres and has 37 classified historic structures. These include the Longwood Hotel, the 1873 Inside Outside House, and the 1885 Bradlee-McIntyre House. Within the historic district are City Hall, Administration buildings, and a large community building.
Head outside the city and you’ll find yourself surrounded by wilderness. Take an adventure to Wekiva Island where you can canoe, kayak, and paddleboard through an unaltered Florida stream. If you have done Wekiva already, there are a handful of other parks for you to explore such as Spring Hammock.
